Repair it or replace it.
The first visit answers that. H2 looks at the unit, how old it is and what parts it needs, then explains what each option involves before any work starts.
On a 16-year-old water heater in Evergreen, a repair was possible but meant several visits and tracking down a part that likely isn’t made anymore. The repair would have cost about half the price of a new unit, so replacing it was the better call. The family had a new heater the next day.
The estimate was, in their words, straightforward and transparent, with no hidden costs.
From a review on Google and Nextdoor, September 2025.

How soon can someone come out for a dead water heater?
Call as early in the day as you can. Customers describe same-day visits, and one family had a new heater installed the day after the first visit. It depends on that week’s schedule, so the office will tell you when you call (303) 518-1867.
Should I repair my water heater or replace it?
It depends on the unit’s age, whether parts are still made, and what the repair costs next to a new heater. H2 explains both options before any work starts.
Do you work on cabins and second homes?
Yes. One reviewer wrote that H2 was the only company that would service their cabin up in Pine Grove.
Do you go as far as Como and Fairplay?
Yes. The service area runs from Morrison and Evergreen up to Jefferson, Como and Fairplay. The full list of 30 communities is on the service area page.
